Services

The Essex Middle River Veterinary Center provides the following services:

• Comprehensive preventative care including vaccinations and heartworm/tick disease testing. NOW AVAILABLE - warm laser therapy for arthritic joints and hard to heal skin sores.
• Full service dentistry including plaque/tartar removal, teeth extraction, and intraoral growth removal with complete digital dental X-rays.
• Complete range of  diagnostics including digital radiography, abdominal ultrasonography, rigid and flexible endoscopy (allowing minimally invasive examination and biopsy of the nose, ear canal, urinary bladder, and gastrointestinal tract), in-house/outside laboratory services (IDEXX/ANTECH), and on site cytology with real time microscopic review of "lumps and bumps".
  
  We offer in hospital professional ultrasonography (Intrapet Imaging by Andi Parkinson), with telecommunication to with veterinary specialists. Expert review of your pet's X-rays to Sight Hound Radiology is also available.
• Surgical procedures from routine (spay/neuter) to soft tissue (growth/tumor resection, urinary bladder stone removal, intestinal foreign body retrieval) to orthopedic (bone fracture repair, cruciate knee stabilization, patellar surgery). We perform both extracapsular repair and TTA (Tibial Tuberosity Advancement) knee surgery for dogs with a torn ACL.
