Meet Our Doctors!



Dr. M.J. O'Connell, D.V.M.
Dr. O'Connell is originally from Waverly, Minnesota. He performed his undergraduate studies with
St. John's University, Collegewell, MN and the University of Minnesota. He received his DVM degree from University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. He has served in the United States Army as a veterinarian, and is a Vietnam veteran.
He shares his home with his wife and daughter, and they have a golden retreiver named Lucy, and two cats, Gus and Nick.
Dr. O'Connell has recently gone into "semi retirement" where he gets to enjoy more time with his family, but still works with us a few days out of the week.


Dr. J.C. Zulty, D.V.M.
Dr. Zulty is a Baltimore native. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, where he received a B.A. in Molecular Biology. He received his DVM degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated Cum Laude. He performed a  residency in Comparitive Medicine at the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
He shares his home with his wife and three children. They have several pets, including two Boston Terriers,
Cow and Stella, and a cat, Jacob.
His professional interests include minimally invasive diagnostics (such as endoscopy and ultrasound), cytology, surgery and oncology. 

 

 


Dr. Pam Nesbitt, D.V.M.
Dr.
Nesbitt is from Nashville, Tennessee. She at
tended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she graduated with a B.S. in Marketing. She received her DVM degree from The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Nesbitt lives with her husband and three kitties: Hobo, Sophie, and Newberry. In her personal time she enjoys gardening and working with her church community.

 

 


Dr. Anne Hicks D.V.M.
Dr. Hicks comes to us from Cambridge, MD. She attended Western Maryland College where she received a B.A. in Chemistry. She performed her graduate work at The Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia for her DVM degree.
She shares her home with her husband and children, and two dogs:
Abbey and Cassie, which are both Australian Shepherds.

 

 

 

 


Dr. Amy Brazil, V.M.D
Dr. Brazil is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a Baltimore native, and lives with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Oyster.

 

 

 

 


Dr. Tara Klimovitz, D.V.M.
Dr. Klimovitz is our newest addition to the team at EMRVC! She is a graduate from Ross University at St. Kitts in the West Indies.
She enjoys spending her free time in the Big Outdoors, hiking, camping and and more. Dr. Klimovitz shares her home with her cat Mini Cat and her two dogs Hops and Callan.
